$500 Bucks for your Program
I have given away scholarships to students who are involved in Music and Band related programs over the past couple of years.  This was my way of giving back to the activity and supporting a student that was outstanding member of their organization.  It has been fun and a huge success.  I am doing it again with a few formatted changes.  I thought a program as a whole could actually do more with the money.  So this time the program is the candidate for the scholarship/award. Everything else is the same. Review the changes and find out how to apply.  Application deadline is December 15th.  See past winners

Workshop Concept Coming Soon
The Workshop idea came about a year ago.  Many of us have used the Internet to share clips of our projects to help each other out.  That led to posting a few clips on MBS pages. Then we alerted  members of the network to solicit their feedback and participation.  Programs got feedback that was helpful.  Directors now had access to more consultants to choose from and information they can really use.   Sometime there is a learning curve when understanding what someone is trying to tell you Some do it better than others. Who’s Hi-stepping?
Helping When You Can
The Texas Youth Project was formed in January 7, 2007 by my big sister, Jennifer Edwards and her two partners. Their goals were to enrich the lives of young at-risk youth in their community by providing resources, so they can be empowered and live a positive life.   I think it's freaking cool that my sister is doing this.  Giving to others unconditionally because you care and believe in the them is a gift.  I am glad she is sharing it with others.  So, Kudos to you "J".  I send you good energy and look to see more "Hi-Steps" from your organization.  Click here to read more about Texasyouthproject.org and donate
